Texas Tech University is one of only a few universities in the country that offers a bachelors program in Energy Commerce.  Energy Commerce majors can focus on various energy industry disciplines including: Petroleum Land Management, Commodities Trading, Energy Financial Analysis, Energy Lending, Gas Marketing, and Petroleum Accounting. * Important Information *

All students must take GEOL 1303 & GEOL 1101 as one of their lab science requirements.

Effective Summer 2008 students  interested in majoring in Energy Commerce will be required to have a minimum 3.3 GPA.

All Energy Commerce major courses must be taken at Texas Tech.
